Murphy Williams makes marshmallows for a living, which is pretty cool. She demonstrated how to make lemon meringue marshmallows to the group of the people in the room who all seem very excited about learning the secrets of her recipe.
Murphy also handed out a load of samples, which as a vegetarian made me very sad, but I stuck to my guns. Apparently it was deliciously airy, and the common consensus was that the raspberry flavoured ones were the best.
Murphy managed to create an atmosphere of creativity and curiosity surrounding her sweet treats and allowed us all to try one final piece of lemon meringue marshmallow before we poured out of the kitchen in a sugar-induced haze, dreaming of our future creations.
